Thunderbolt clear

Hands steady on the steering-wheel
trees passing by all blurry
arachnid thunderbolt blinding the eyes

We left so sudden, we were unmindful
I still remember the sweet smile among the smelly sadness
So fishy selfish, we were simply oblivious

Hours behind the steady wheel
ideas passing by, images all blurry
arachnid thunderbolt blinding the mind

Years have passed, we were so lonely
In the photograph the same smile and no trace of old scents
we’ve gotten used to the lonely room for two, only two

Hands on the steering-wheel still
well contoured trees out the window
Finding the right parking spot, I dislike walking

Going through the voice message
all the messages you’ve been sending for us two
thunderbolt clear and still arachnid
being there for us, maybe, maybe it is just right
